Creating and Modifying Configurations You can use the Modify Configurations and the Configuration Table dialog boxes to create, modify, and delete configurations in parts and assemblies. To create a new configuration: In the dialog box, at the bottom of the Configuration Name column, click the cell. Enter a name and press Enter. You can right-click any configuration and click the following options: Rename Configuration Delete Configuration Add Derived Configuration Switch to Configuration. Makes the selected configuration the active one. If you enabled the Design with SOLIDWORKS app, the options have the following names: Rename Physical Product Delete Physical Product Add Representation Switch to Physical Product.
