No Limit on Number of Instances
There is no upper limit on the number of instances for some patterns.
You can enter any number of instances for:
- Parts Patterns: Linear, Circular, Curve Driven, Fill Pattern (Instances Per Side)
- Assembly Patters: Linear, Circular, Linear Component, Circular Component, Curve Driven
When you create one of those patterns with a large number of instances, a dialog box prompts you to confirm or revise the number. Patterns with a large number of instances tend to impact performance.
If you continue with the large number, the software displays progress bars that allow you to cancel the process.
Other patterns in parts and assemblies may have a limit on the number of instances you can enter.
