Setting the Location for Thread Profiles

Before you start a custom thread, add the location of the thread profiles in System Options.

1. Click Options or Tools > Options > System Options > File Locations.
   The default directory is C:\ProgramData\SolidWorks\SOLIDWORKS YYYY\Thread Profiles.
2. Under Show Folders for, select Thread Profiles.
3. Set the file location and click OK.
