Measuring Internal Volume
To measure internal volume:

With an open part, click Intersect (Features toolbar) or Insert > Features > Intersect.
- In the FeatureManager design tree, select Shell1 and Plane6.
- Click Intersect (Features toolbar) or Insert > Features > Intersect.
- In the PropertyManager, click Create internal regions and click Intersect.
- Click .
Two solid bodies are added to the FeatureManager design tree. Intersect[1] is the newly created region. Intersect[2] is the original model.
- In the FeatureManager design tree, select Intersect[1]. Then in the CommandManager, on the Evaluate tab, click Mass Properties.
The Mass Properties dialog box lists the calculated volume for the Intersect[1] body.
