license. The license is not included with the SOLIDWORKS Standard, Premium, or Professional
licenses.
To verify that you have a license and that it is
activated:
-
In SOLIDWORKS, click .
-
In the dialog box, under Technical
Communication, see SOLIDWORKS MBD
Standard.
- If you see a green check mark beside
SOLIDWORKS MBD Standard, then you
have an active license.
- If a message tells you to activate SOLIDWORKS MBD, then you have a
license, but it is not activated. Dismiss the message, click , select SOLIDWORKS
MBD, and activate the license.
- If there is no green check mark and no message, then you do not have an
MBD license installed. Contact your administrator or VAR to obtain an MBD
serial number. To add the serial number to your installation, run the
SOLIDWORKS Installation Manager and select Modify the individual installation. On the Serial Number
Page, under Technical
Communication, select SOLIDWORKS
MBD, enter your MBD serial number, and continue until the
installation process is complete.
-
In SOLIDWORKS, open a part or assembly.
The
MBD tab appears on the
CommandManager.
