Changing the Suppression State of Components
Lightweight options are available when Manually manage resolved and lightweight modes is selected in
system options. To select this option, click .
To change the suppression state of components:
Other ways to suppress a component:
- In the FeatureManager design tree or the graphics area, right-click a component and select Suppress . This method changes the suppression state of the component in the active configuration only.
- Select a component, then click Change Suppression State (Assembly toolbar) and select Suppress. This method changes the suppression state of the component in the active configuration only.
- Select a component, click This Configuration, All Configurations, or Specified Configurations. , then select
Other ways to set a component to lightweight:
- In the FeatureManager design tree or the graphics area, right-click a component and select Set to Lightweight.
- Select a component, then click Change Suppression State
(Assembly toolbar) and
select Lightweight. When you set a component to lightweight, it is set to lightweight in all configurations of the assembly.
Other ways to resolve a suppressed or lightweight component:
- In the FeatureManager design tree, click next to a component name to resolve a lightweight component.
- In the FeatureManager design tree, right-click a component and select Set to Resolved. This method resolves a suppressed component in the active configuration only.
- Select a component, then click Change Suppression State (Assembly toolbar) and select Resolve. This method resolves a suppressed component in the active configuration only.
- Select a component, click This
