- Preview correct. The problem is with the printer.
- Preview incorrect:
- Report the problem to the SOLIDWORKS' reseller.
- Contact the printer vendor's technical support.

Printer fails with SOLIDWORKS. |
- Check printing from other applications to verify it is a problem with SOLIDWORKS.
- Print from another computer.
- Check Page Setup in the File menu.
To check page settings:
- Click .
- On the Page Setup dialog box, verify the settings.
- Set Resolution and Scale Properties to 100%.
If you are using High Quality (for Drawings), SOLIDWORKS determines the optimum resolution, based on printer and paper size combinations. If this causing a problem, set the scale to 100%.

- Install the printer as described by the manufacturer.
- Load the driver included with the printer.
- From the Windows Start menu, open Help and Support, and go through the Printing and faxing troubleshooting wizard.
- Test the printer by printing a test page.
To print a test page:
- From the Windows Start menu, open Printer and Faxes folder.
- Right-click the printer and click Properties.
- Print a test page.
