Export to AEC - Type and Orientation
Use the Export to AEC - Type and Orientation wizard page to define the coordinate system for the exported file.

Define Host

Floor Based Component Ceiling / Roof Based Component Wall Based Component |
Controls the orientation of the exported model in AEC. |
| Placement Plane | Shows the plane you select in the model as the placement plane. | |
| Flip Normal | Flips the default normal vector of the reference plane, depending on the host type. In SOLIDWORKS, "up" is typically in the +Y direction. For AEC products, up is in the +Z direction.
