Opening Auto-Recovered Documents
You can open an auto-recovered document from the Alerts tab of the Welcome Dialog Box. You can delete the file, or save the file by replacing the original file or by creating a file.
You can open the Welcome dialog box by clicking Welcome to SOLIDWORKS (Standard toolbar).
To view auto-recovered documents on the Alerts tab, click Troubleshooting. The Document recovery section lists the auto-recovered documents.
The Document recovery section appears only when there are recovered files.
To open an auto-recovered document:
Click Open All next to the
Document Recovery list, or right-click an
auto-recovered document and click Open.
You can save the document by
using Save to replace the original
file or by using Save As to create a
file.
To delete an
auto-recovered document, right-click the document and click Delete.
