Inserting a Model View into a Drawing

To insert a model view into a drawing:

  1. Click Model View (Drawing toolbar) or Insert > Drawing View > Model.
  2. Set options in the Model View PropertyManager.
    If you click Standard 3 View , the PropertyManager changes to Standard 3 View, and the list of open documents is available. Select a model and click to insert a Standard 3 View.
  3. Click Next .
    You can also click Standard 3 View at this point, to insert a Standard 3 View of the selected model.
  4. Set additional options in the Model View PropertyManager.
    When you place the model view, if you selected an orthogonal view orientation, the Projected View PropertyManager appears. You can place any number of projected views for any orthogonal view in the drawing.
  5. Click .
