Creating Silhouette Entities

To create silhouette entities:

  1. Open a part or an assembly.
  2. In the FeatureManager design tree, select any plane.
  3. Click Sketch (Sketch toolbar).
  4. Click Silhouette Entities (Sketch toolbar) or Tools > Sketch Tools > Silhouette Entities .
  5. In the PropertyManager, for Entities to Silhouette, select the entities from the graphics area or from the FeatureManager design tree.
  6. Clear External silhouette to create sketch entities of the outer body and the internal entities of the model.
  7. Click .
    To create entities of the external silhouette only, select External silhouette. Silhouette entities appear on the sketch.
