Changing a Part's Display Settings
You can change the appearance and transparency for parts. For solid and surface bodies, you can also change the display mode (for example, wireframe or shaded), and the visibility of the part.

Click
at the top of the FeatureManager design
tree.
The display pane appears to the right of the FeatureManager design tree.
- In a multibody part, to change display settings for a specific body, expand the Solid Bodies folder.
- Move the pointer in the Display Pane to activate a row.The feature or body is highlighted in the graphics area.

Do one of the following:
- Right-click and select a display setting from the pop-up menu.
- Click in the column for the
setting you want to change.
For the Hide/Show and Transparency settings, clicking switches the settings on and off.

- Display Mode settings are:
- Wireframe
- Hidden Lines Visible
- Hidden Lines Removed
- Shaded with Edges
- Shaded
- Default Display A check mark in the corner of a display mode icon (for example, ) indicates that it is the default display mode. The display uses this mode initially. Select a display mode in the Display Pane to override this setting.
You can change the default display mode by using the Display Style flyout on the Heads-up View toolbar.Display Mode is Wireframefor the small tubes - Appearance settings are:
- Appearance - Displays the Appearances PropertyManager, where you can add and edit appearances
- Remove Appearance - Removes the appearance from the selected feature or solid body
- Remove All Part Appearances From part_name - Removes all appearances from all references, including the part-level appearance
