Sketching with Planes

To start a sketch with a plane:

  1. Select a plane in the FeatureManager design tree and click a sketch entity tool or click Sketch Tool_Sketch.gif on the Sketch toolbar.
    In new parts, the plane is displayed in Normal to orientation.
  2. Create the sketch.
  3. Dimension the sketch entities.
  4. Exit the sketch, or click Extruded Boss/Base Tool_Extruded_Boss_Base_Features.gif or Revolved Boss/Base Tool_Revolved_Boss_Base_Features.gif on the Features toolbar.
