Scaling Sketches

To scale a sketch:

  1. In an active sketch, click Modify Sketch Tool_Modify_Sketch.gif (Sketch toolbar) or Tools > Sketch Tools > Modify.
  2. In the dialog box, under Scale About, select one of the following:
    Option Description
    Sketch origin Applies a uniform scale about the origin of the sketch
    Movable origin Scales the sketch about the moveable origin
  3. Type a value for Factor, and press Enter.
    You cannot scale a sketch that has external references.
  4. Click Close.
