Creates vertical ordinate dimensions in a drawing or sketch, measured vertically from the entity you select first.
To create vertical ordinate dimensions:

With a drawing or sketch active, click Vertical Ordinate Dimension
on the Dimensions/Relations toolbar, or click .
- Click the first item from which all others will be measured, and click again to place the dimension.
- Click an item to dimension. Repeat this step until all the remaining items are dimensioned.
The dimension tool remains in ordinate mode until you select another mode or another tool.
