Activating a Configuration

To activate a different configuration:

  1. Click the ConfigurationManager: CAD Family tab or the ConfigurationManager tab.
    The CAD Family tab is available when you enable the Design with SOLIDWORKS app.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • Right-click the name of the configuration that you want to view. For the CAD Family tab, select Show Physical Product or Show Representation. For the ConfigurationManager tab, select Show Configuration.
    • Double-click the configuration name.
    The named configuration becomes the active configuration, and the view of the model updates to the selected configuration.
