Checkbox

You can use a Checkbox control to suppress and unsuppress items such as features and components.

For example, use a Checkbox control to allow the selection of a bracket with or without mounting holes, or a connector assembly with or without pins.

Checkbox controls are available only for $State variables.
In the interface:

= Unsuppressed

= Suppressed

Attribute

Name Labels the control.
Do not use spaces in the name and do not start the name with a number, a punctuation mark, or the letters xml.
Design Table Variable Lists available $State variables from the design table. Select one to assign to the control.

Data

  Parent Creates a context-sensitive control by setting different states (selected or cleared) depending on the value selected for the parent control. If you specify one or more data parents, the Checked States table appears. The table includes a row for each combination of the data parent values.
If you specify a data parent, then the state of this control is read-only.

Not available for the first control.

Add Parent Adds another Parent field.
  Checked States Defines the state of this control (selected or cleared) for each value of the parent control.

Visibility

Parent Defines whether the control appears based on the value selected for the parent control. Select None to make the current control always visible.

Not available for the first control.

Show Specifies if the current control appears for each value of the parent control.

= Hidden

Click Hide All or Show All to select or clear all boxes.

Available when you select a parent.
