Appearances, Scenes, and Decals Tab
The Appearances, Scenes, and Decals tab on the Task Pane contains:
Dragging
When you drag an appearance, scene, or decal from the Appearances tab into the graphics area, you can apply it directly to the model. ALT-drag to open the corresponding PropertyManager or dialog box.Double-clicking
When you double-click appearance or scene on the Appearances tab, the items are attached to the active document.When you double-click a decal, the Decal PropertyManager opens, but the decal is not inserted into the graphics area.
Saving Custom Appearances, Scenes, and Decals
To save appearances, scenes, or decals:
Do one of the following:
Option | Description |
---|---|
Custom Appearances | In the Appearances PropertyManager, Click Advanced. On the Color/Image tab, click Save appearance. |
Scenes | In the Edit Scene PropertyManager, on the Advanced tab, click Save Scene. |
Decals | In the Decals PropertyManager, on the Image tab, click Save Decal. |
