Tables Overview
You can use tables to annotate drawings and assemblies.
You can create several types of tables, including:
Reordering Columns
You can reorder rows and columns by dragging them within the table.
Changing Row Height or Column Width
To change row height or column width, do one of the following:
- Drag a row divider when the pointer changes to or a column divider when the pointer changes to .
- Right-click a row or column (or hold down Ctrl and select multiple rows or columns) and select or . Type a value and click OK.
Changing Table Area
- Right-click anywhere in the table and select .
- Type values for the width of all columns and height of all rows, and click OK.
Locking Row Height or Column Width
Right-click a row or column and click Lock Row Height. or
Locked rows and columns display a lock icon when you select the table.
Showing or Hiding Rows or Columns
To toggle the visibility of a row or column:
Click Hide/Show in the Table Format toolbar.
Toggling Grouping of Rows
To toggle row grouping:
Click Group/Ungroup in the Table Format toolbar.
Showing Referenced Assembly Structures in a BOM
To display an image of a referenced assembly structure in the BOM:
Expand the flyout on the left of the BOM.
Setting the Document-level Font for All Tables
- Click Options , and select Document Properties.
- Select Tables and click Font.
- Select the font and click OK twice.
