- View Toolbar
- Heads-up View Toolbar
A transparent toolbar in each viewport provides all the common tools required for manipulating the view.
- Standard Views Toolbar
- Orientation
You can rotate and zoom the model or drawing to a preset view. Select from the standard views (Normal To, Front, Back, Isometric, and so on for a model, Full Sheet for a drawing) or add your own custom views to the Orientation dialog box.
- Previous View
After moving your model to one or more views, you can return your model or drawing to a previous view. You can undo the last 10 view changes.
- Redraw View
Refreshes the screen, but does not rebuild the part.
- Perspective
Displays a perspective view of the model. A perspective view is the view normally seen by the eye. Parallel lines recede into the distance to a vanishing point.
- Modify Perspective
Perspective is related to the size of the object being observed and the distance of that object from the observer.
- Using the Magnifying Glass
Use the magnifying glass to inspect a model and make selections without changing the overall view. These actions facilitate selection of entities for operations such as creating mates.
