Overview of Instant3D Functionality
Drag geometry and dimension
manipulators to resize features. You can
also drag the dimension handles to resize features. Video: Instant3D - Drag Dimension Handles

You can also drag the dimension handles to resize features. |
For assemblies, you can edit components within the assembly, or edit assembly-level sketches, assembly features, and mate dimensions. | Video: Instant3D for Assemblies |
Use on-screen rulers to precisely measure modifications.
Create extruded bosses and cuts from selected contour or sketches.
Snap to geometry using drag handles.
Live Section Planes. Dynamically section model geometry to view and manipulate features.
Edit internal sketch contours. | Video: Instant3D - Edit Internal Sketch Contours |
Mirrors and Patterns. You can use
Instant3D to manipulate mirrored or patterned geometry. The manipulators available on the selected transformed geometry match those available on the corresponding seed geometry. For example, side face manipulators, end face manipulators, fillet manipulators, etc. When you drag transformed geometry, the entire model updates, including seed geometry. |
Original part with mirrored extrude. Example shows using the manipulator on the mirrored feature to modify the mirror and seed features. Video: Instant3D - Mirrors and Patterns |
Instant3D works on weldment parts for 2D and 3D weldments. |
