Animation

You can use Task Scheduler to manage animation tasks in Motion Studies. You can start the tasks in Motion Studies before you can manage them in Task Scheduler.

Scheduling Animation Tasks

To schedule animation tasks:

  1. From a SOLIDWORKS motion study, click Save Animation (MotionManager toolbar).
  2. Click Schedule in the Save Animation to File dialog box.
  3. Select options in the Video Compression dialog box and click OK.
  4. In the Schedule Animation dialog box:
    1. Give the task a title.
    2. Browse to the location for the saved file.
    3. Set the Start Time and Start Date or select to start the task after the previous scheduled task is complete.
    4. Click View Settings to check the animation settings.
    5. Click Finish.
  5. From the Windows Start menu, click SOLIDWORKS Tools version > SOLIDWORKS Task Scheduler version .
  6. In the SOLIDWORKS Task Scheduler:
    1. In the Tasks pane, for Show Tasks, select Scheduled.
    2. Click the scheduled animation task.
    3. In the Render/Animation Settings dialog box, verify that the scheduled date is later than the current date and click OK.
  7. Close the SOLIDWORKS Task Scheduler.
