Convert to High Quality Views
You can schedule tasks to convert the views in SOLIDWORKS drawings from draft quality to high quality.
Draft Quality |
Only minimum model information is loaded into memory. Used in Lightweight drawings. Some edges may appear to be missing, and print quality may be slightly degraded. You can annotate views in draft quality without resolving the model. |
High Quality |
All model information is loaded into memory. |
You can specify one or more files or folders, but you cannot specify both files and folders in the same task.
Creating a Convert to High Quality Views Task
To create a Convert to High Quality Views task:
- Click Convert to High Quality Views on the sidebar, or click .
- In the dialog box, type a new title for the task or leave the default in Task title.
- Select the files or folders you want to convert:
- To select files:
- Under Task files or folders, click Add File.
- Browse to the file to convert, then click Open.
- Repeat steps a and b to select additional files.
- To select folders:
- Under Task files or folders, click Add Folder.
- Browse to the folder that contains the files to convert, then click OK.
- Repeat steps a and b to select additional folders.
- If you do not want to include subfolders, clear Include subfolders.
To delete a file or folder from the list, click its number in the leftmost column, then click Delete.
