Hole Series Smart Fasteners PropertyManager

You can insert a Smart Fastener into a hole series using this PropertyManager. If you size a hole series, the software automatically sizes related Smart Fasteners. If you modify the size of the hole series, the software adjusts the Smart Fastener.

You must install and activate SOLIDWORKS Toolbox Library to enable the Smart Fasteners tab and this functionality.

To insert a Smart Fastener into a hole series:

  1. Select the Smart Fasteners tab.
  2. Under Fastener Options, select Place Fastener.
    The software inserts the appropriate Smart Fastener into the hole series.
  3. Use the PropertyManager images and descriptive text to set the options:
    • Auto size based on start hole. Automatically sets the Smart Fastener size based on the start hole.

    • Properties
