Recognizing Sweep Features

You can recognize boss and cut sweep features created with a profile and a path using interactive feature recognition.

You can recognize these types of sweep features:

Square-shaped profile Semi-circular profile Sweeps with internal loops
FW_sweep_boss.gif FW_sweep_cut.gif  
Boss sweep features added to a base feature Cut sweep features  
You cannot recognize sweep features with:
  • Orientation/twist Type other than Follow Path
  • Guide curves
  • Closed paths
  • 3D path curves
  • Profiles that have internal loops
  • Drafts
